About Mr. Oyebisi Salau – Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Oyebisi Salau is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nuggets Microfinance Bank Limited. Prior to his appointment, he was the MD/CEO of Maritime Microfinance Bank Ltd. He read Accountancy at the Polytechnic, Ibadan. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management (ACILRM) and a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). He is a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB) of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He also holds an MBA in Financial Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho in Oyo state.
He has over fifteen years of banking experience having worked with DavoDani Microfinance Bank Ltd, Personal Trust Microfinance Bank Ltd and Mainstreet Microfinance Bank Ltd, a subsidiary of Mainstreet Bank Ltd (Formerly Afribank Plc). He has worked in different capacities as Risk Management Officer, Business Manager; Head, Financial Control & Treasury; Head, Loan Monitoring & Recovery Unit, and Head, Internal Control & Audit Department respectively.
He was also a Group Cluster Controller in Lagos Island Control Cluster Centre on deployment to Mainstreet Bank Ltd.
Prior to this he worked in Lift Above Poverty Organization (LAPO) MF where he held roles in Client Relationship and Branch Management. He contributed immensely as a team member towards the rapid growth, expansion and or resuscitation of LAPO, Mainstreet MFB, DavoDani MFB and Maritime MFB in Lagos.
